Still the best time tracker
I hestitated to upgrade from the excellent Tyme 1 to Tyme 2 because of all the dissatisfaction other reviewers expressed. However, I took the leap, and Im glad I did. Tyme 2 moves away from the innovative UI choices that made Tyme 1 so charming, but also sometimes confusing. Most views show more details. For instance, time entries are now listed in full. There are more export choices—important for fitting into my billing workflow. I didnt use any of the features that were removed.
Most importantly, the menubar time tracking that works so well is still the same. I love how it lets me walk away from the computer and either end the sessions—or not. And how it lets me turn the start time back if I leap into a task without starting the timer. All in all, Tyme 2 remains essential to my workflow.
